Of Tea Partiers and New Black Panthers

Okay, it took me a minute to understand what this kerfuffle was all about.  Apparently, there is a New Black Panther Party and they intimidated black people into voting for President Obama in 2008, so says the Tea Party. 

Of course, I didn’t know defending the voting rights of African Americans were their specialty. 

 And now the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has decided to waste its precious time on passing a resolution to condemn the Tea Partiers for being racists.  Other than being a complete waste of time and resources the resolution doesn’t do anything to improve the daily lives of Black folks. 

Sure the Tea Party has racist tendencies, but I don’t need a resolution from the NACCP to tell me that.
