This Week in Washington: July 12, 2010

The White House: President Obama used his weekly address to announce that the Department of Veterans Affairs, led by Secretary Shinseki, will begin making it easier for veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to receive the benefits and treatment.  This week, President Obama will travel to Holland, Michigan to discuss the economy.  Additionally, the Obama Administration will unveil its National HIV/AIDS Strategy.

The U.S. Senate:  The Senate is scheduled to vote on judicial nominations.  

The U.S. House of Representatives: The House will vote on a number of non-controversial bills on the suspension calendar.
