The White House: The President used his weekly address to press upon American families how health care reform will help them this year. This week, President Obama will visit with several heads of state including President Funes of El Salvador, Prime Minister Papandreou of Greece, and President Preval of Haiti. President Obama will also travel to Philadelphia, PA and St. Louis, MO to discuss health care reform.
The U.S. Senate: The Senate will AGAIN resume consideration of legislation (H.R. 4213) to extend several expiring tax provisions and perhaps legislation to extend unemployment and COBRA health care benefits, as well as Medicaid funding.
The U.S. House of Representatives: Not too much activity on the House floor except for the usual non-controversial bills on the suspension calendar.
