The White House: After outlining his war strategy for Afghanistan in a speech last week, President Obama turned his attention back to the economy in his weekly address.  Good news: Unemployment went down slightly.  This week, President Obama will host a holiday reception for members of Congress and deliver a speech on the economy before heading to Oslo, Norway.

The U.S. Senate: The Senate continues to trudge through amendments to health care reform.  And there may be light at the end of the tunnel (depending on your perspective).

The U.S. House of Representatives:  The House will focus on tax extenders (measures to prevent tax incentives for companies and individuals from expiring at the end of the year) and taming Wall Street (H.R. 4173).
