Advice for Obama
Matthew D. Lyons, a man of many talents, laments on the current political status quo and reminds President Obama that you can’t please everyone:
Here’s my thing. I’d rather see Obama be a one-term president, with him sticking to his guns on turning the corner on healthcare, the economy, diplomacy, and other important issues, than to have him seemingly afraid to act out of fear that his actions won’t please everyone. I’m all for collaboration, but at some point Obama needs to say (especially to wishy washy Democrats), “Back up off me, I got this!”
