Knowingly Transmitting HIV: Attempted Murder?

Jeff Mays at BV blogs about the recent arrest of Orlando A. Hadley for knowingly transmitting HIV.  Apparently, Hadley had numerous sexual encounters with a woman and neglected to tell her that he was HIV positive.  She later tested positive.  Hadley has been charged with six counts of recklessly risking infection.

How about attempted murder or assault with a deadly weapon?
