Just because the economy is in the dumps doesn’t mean you can’t dine well for a special occasion (or no occasion at all). Restaurant “weeks” have become ever more popular in major cities trying to cajole diners back into their restaurants. Open Table keeps a running list of restaurant weeks/specials for the frequent diner. Listed below are restaurant week/specials during the months of August and September.

Restaurant weeks have allowed me to sample some of Washington, DC’s best restaurants at a fraction of the cost. And when I venture off to other cities, these deals allow me to stretch my limited dollars and dine well! Whether you’re staying local or traveling, be sure to take advantage of these deals while they last. Given its popularity, be sure to make your reservations early!
